This policy explains what personal information Tarneit United Soccer Club ("the club", "we") collects through this website, why we collect it, who can see it and what your choices are. It is about this website only: your official football registration is made on PlayFootball, which has its own privacy policy.
Tarneit United Soccer Club is a community football club in Tarneit, Melbourne. You can reach us through the details on our Contact page.
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and health information in line with the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic).
We collect only what the forms on this website ask for.

Everything on this website is collected only when you submit a form. We do not run advertising or tracking tools on this website.
Most of the people we collect information about are children. A parent or guardian must complete our forms for a child under 18, and by doing so confirms that they may give us the child's information.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Medical and allergy information is optional. It is only seen by the club's committee and is used only for the child's safety and wellbeing at the activity.
Only the club's committee, who must sign in to do so.
We may share information with:
We will not give your information to anyone else without your consent, unless the law requires it.
By using our forms you accept that information may be handled outside Australia in this way. These providers may only use it to provide their service to us.
Our records can only be opened by the committee, who must sign in. We take reasonable steps to protect them from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep information for at least one year, and then delete it when we no longer need it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work (for example, to keep a club official signed in). It does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you or your child, and ask us to correct it or, where we are allowed to, to delete it. Contact us using the details on our Contact page and tell us the child's name and what you want done. We will reply within 30 days.
Contact us first and we will try to fix the problem. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
We may update this policy. The version published on this website is the current one.
